What We Do:

UMIS works directly with municipalities to offer the highest level of experience and expertise to every project.

As part of our work plan, we will conduct on-site meetings with managers and staff members, observe operations, leverage telephone and web conferencing, do research and data analysis off-site, and meet with the consultant team to refine conclusions and recommendations.

During our assessments, we will attempt to identify ways of reducing or eliminating duplication of effort, and to maximize the use of human and financial resources, as well as equipment and facilities. Our technical review and assessment are done by in-service subject experts who are familiar with the requirements and responsibilities of the operating unit, but we craft our recommendations and suggestions within the context of the organization to ensure that final recommendations are rationally prioritized and balanced.
